Lantern Parade, 2 November

“By the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes” It’s wicked, it’s witchy, it’s ghostly and it’s in Stirling.

You joined us for Stirling’s Spooktacular Halloween Lantern Parade on Saturday 2 November.

The theme for 2019 was ‘Stirling’s Witches’ and many of you dressed up in your guisin’ costume there were chilling things on the streets of Stirling and we didn’t just mean the weather!

You brought your LED lantern and came along to join in the fun.

The parade gathered in Port Street, in the pedestrian area from 5.00 pm then set off up King Street at 5.30 pm. The parade was led by the Go Forth ghost train and Stirling & District Schools Pipe Band made its way up to King Street and Baker Street (with some spooky surprises on the way) before finishing in Broad Street. Broad Street was be closed to traffic from 5.30 pm to 8.00 pm to allow for some safe family Halloween fun, music and light shows.
